Jekyll & Hyde Chicago Theatre reviews
Surreal
An amazing experience from start to finish. The impact of just how talented Mr. Hyde & Jekyll is, without a backing band, made me see his magic. The man is. The beauty of the stage set-up added to the intimate-feeling experience, and of course, the magic of the sound set-up. I had seen him live before in a much more conventional setting. I don't know if I'll ever have an opportunity to see a concert quite like this again. The only thing remotely disappointing had nothing to do with the crowd - more uptight than I was used to - it was Mr. Jekyll & Hyde or his crew. I was surprised everyone remained seated the whole time in the wooden pews.
